Windows Update Errors: 0×80070002

While updating windows, it is possible to receive the 0×80070002 Error. As a result the update process will not be completed, and your computer will not be able to transmit files. The reason for your computer receiving the 0×80070002 Error is due to it not having all of the files that should have been transmitted when updating your software. This is an initialization error that occurs after files have been downloaded, and extracted to the computer.

To resolve this problem, remove the download directory, and then visit the update locations again. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Stop the Automatic Updates service. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
2. Right-click the Automatic Updates service, and then click Stop.
3. Minimize the Services snap-in.
2. Rename the SoftwareDistribution directory. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK.
2. Type cd %windir%, and then press ENTER.
3. Type ren SoftwareDistribution SDTemp, and then press ENTER

Well, here am describing about a free online web site where you can upload your suspicious file and check its a virus contain file or not.

Virus Total is an online service providing free computer virus scanning for individual files. It is not software installed on the user’s computer, so it does not perform system-wide malware scans. The service performs aggregate tests using over 32 different antivirus products.

• Tests can be run either on the website or through email.
• he variety of antivirus software used by the website allows a user to check for viruses that his own antivirus solution may have missed, or to verify false positives.

First step is to upload your suspesious file l and send the file to virus tota  as shown bellow

After sending the file the virus total start the process of scanning your fil with the anti virus ….

At last the Virus total will list result of each scan,the summary is shown bellow.From the summary you can deside whether the file is a virus affected or not.

The alternative is to send the suspect file via email. However, many Web-based and company email systems block executable attachments. So I opted for the second option, the Virus Total Uploader. Downloading and installing the uploader took less than 2 minutes. Once installed, Virus Total appeared in the list of “Send To” locations, as shown in Figure
